I know this is the /tech/ board so I'll close with a few things. I'm very lucky to have an open source grant so I can use Arch Linux on my work computer, actually one of the other core developers of the project I work on (@FontForge on Twitter) uses Arch as well so it's very good. Operating systems are just tools though, in my life I've used all three major ones at one point or another.

I used /g/, the 4chan version of this board a lot as a teenager so I know OS battles are a big part of it.

you were the admin when /hebe/ was alive and active, if you actually cared about it, YOU would have removed that content. but you didn't. Jim did.
